Bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves. It can even be placed far from a window, but in a bright space.

It is advisable to let it dry almost completely, and when watering, make sure it is abundant and check that the water comes out through the holes in the pot. It is very important to let the water drain, since waterlogging can rot the roots.

Although it can survive in low humidity environments, it would be advisable to spray its leaves occasionally to maintain a pleasant climate, it will appreciate it.

They prefer temperatures between 15°C - 25°C.

Homemade fertilizer can be applied during the spring, which is also an ideal time to transplant.

They are toxic to humans and animals and can cause irritation after ingestion.

It's important to clean the leaves monthly with a damp cloth to remove dust. If you notice the leaves starting to discolor, it may be a sign that the soil needs to be replaced with fresh substrate.

Common problems for your Dieffenbachia

Over time, the soil decomposes, and the roots experience less growth. If you've had your dieffenbachia for a while, you may want to replace it with fresh soil and check the roots for signs of damage.

Go back to basics: give it bright light, keep the soil dry, increase humidity with bugs, and keep it away from hot spots.
